Visit Duiker Island near Hout Bay
Duiker Island also known as Seal Island holds a large colony of cape fur seals just off Hout Bay near Cape Town, South Africa.
It is only really a small rocky outcrop, but hosts a massive horde of bachelor seals, sunning themselves on the rocky shore. There can be up to 45 000 seals at any given time around the Island.
There are a number of ferries running every 40mins to take you to see the seals up close. You can also include this experience in a peninsula day tour.
